Different Perspectives
In this photo shoot, I am focusing on the walls of Hong Kong. It may seem strange but the walls of Hong Kong can express different social sides of Hong Kong. I have taken three final photos, each in positive, neutral and negative perspectives.
Positive Perspective
This is actually a wall painting created by the store, "Goods of Desire"[1]. The motto of the store is "to live better", promoting the vibrant and energetic culture mix between east and west, old and new, turning everyday objects into fun and extraordinary objects.

Neutral Perspective
This is a photo of the wall of a closed down store, There are posters of houses and stores for rent, papers torn and overlapping each other. This shows a very realistic side of Hong Kong. As the crowded city continues to develop, the demand for living space as well as any place for stores continues to increase. The rising price of land in Hong Kong is currently a big issue in the society.
Negative Perspective
This is a photo of a graffiti drawing on a worn out wall. In front the wall is discarded pieces. Graffiti art is not as common in Hong Kong as in other western countries, yet the graffiti often seen in Hong Kong is usually somewhat dark, lacking in creativity and color. The graffiti in this photo is also a dark, colorless drawing of a face.
